- Public Citizen is pushing Pfizer to make its COVID-19 antiviral pill more broadly available in lower-income countries to address the existing global inequities in access to vaccines and treatments. The advocacy group argued in a letter to Pfizer Chief Executive Albert Bourla that the drugmaker has “almost exclusively” agreed to supply the antiviral pills in North America and Europe amid manufacturing constraints.
