  • The CDC has reportedly withheld much of the COVID-19 data it’s collected over the past two years. Several sources said the agency has published only a “tiny fraction” of the data it has collected, including hospitalizations by race, data on booster shots, and other metrics that could help local officials respond to the pandemic. A CDC official said the agency’s systems are poorly equipped to handle the amount of data gathered during the pandemic. (Article here)
