  • Moderna Inc. scaled back the number of COVID-19 vaccines it plans to deliver this year from 1 billion shots to between 700 million and 800 million doses. The drugmaker said that longer delivery lead times for exports and a temporary impact from expanding its fill-finish capacity may shift some deliveries to early 2022. Moderna now expects COVID-19 vaccine sales of between $15 billion and $18 billion, down from $20 billion earlier this year. (Articles here, here, and here)
