  • The Biden administration released a 96-page plan for the next phase of the COVID-19 pandemic. The National COVID-19 Preparedness Plan outlines a roadmap for averting economic and educational shutdowns in the event of future case surges and calls for additional investments in vaccines, treatments, testing, and monitoring future COVID-19 variants. It also said tax credits for small and mid-sized business that offer paid sick and family leave to those who miss work over COVID-19 should be reinstituted.
