- The HHS Office of Inspector General (OIG) said its top investigative priorities include fraud in the Provider Relief Fund and managed care companies that overcharge Medicare and telemarketers that convince patients to get unnecessary services. Gregory Demske, chief counsel to the HHS OIG, said the office has already settled five cases regarding relief funds unlawfully claimed by providers. (Article here)
