Peter focuses on assisting primary care providers optimize their performance under payer contracts (with special focus on Medicaid), and helping unaffiliated providers coordinate their efforts to strengthen the safety net.
Peter has over a decade of experience in public health and policy implementation. Most recently he served as vice president of the North Carolina Community Health Center Association. There he worked to integrate the efforts of the association’s initiatives on payer contracting, training and technical assistance, implementation of health information technology, and practice transformation. Prior to that, Peter ran the population health and quality initiatives for a Federally Qualified Health Center in New York City.
Peter holds an MPH in community health practice from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Nazareth College.
