- Pfizer Inc. said it’s conducting a mid-to-late-stage clinical trial that is testing an antiviral pill to prevent COVID-19 among people who have been exposed to the virus. Merck & Co Inc. and Roche Holding AG are also developing COVID-19 antivirals. (Article here)
- Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said the company plans to submit data within days to the FDA on its COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11, after finding the shots are safe and effective for children in that age group.
