- Walmart announced it is partnering with Transcarent to make it easier for self-funded employers to access its health care services. The agreement allows Transcarent, which offers employees and their dependents a new, different and better health and care experience, to share Walmart’s everyday low cost on pharmaceuticals and other services with self-insured employers and their employees for the first time. The partnership aims to allow employers to leverage the retail giant’s size and scale to offer more convenient care and cost-effective health and wellness options. (Press release here)
