  • About 150 drugmakers raised their list prices by an average of 6.6 percent for 866 medicines in the United States in the first few weeks of 2022. The analysis from Rx Savings Solutions shows that the average price hike was higher than the 4.5 percent increase over the same period last year, but lower than the double-digit increases seen in the past, which analysts attributed to drug pricing measures and political pressure on pharmaceutical companies.
