  • Data from several states show that Medicaid enrollees are getting COVID-19 vaccines at far lower rates than the general population. While there is not a nationwide compilation of how many Medicaid enrollees have been vaccinated, those states that do collect the data – including California, Washington, Utah, Ohio, and Virginia – report than 41 percent to 54 percent of Medicaid beneficiaries are partially or fully vaccinated.
