  • The Biden administration announced that Medicare will begin covering at-home COVID-19 tests in early spring for its 64 million beneficiaries. The CMS said people on Medicare will be able to get up to eight tests per month at select pharmacies and other locations, but didn’t say how many retailers will participate. The decision was made after officials faced backlash for leaving Medicare out of their plan to require private insurers to pay for at-home tests.
